Problem and Objective

To create a wireless Bluetooth enabled solenoid valve product for precision use while servicing commercial and residential air conditioning system refrigerant systems.

Service Technicians find their job difficult when wasting valuable AC refrigerant coolant while having to use products that are cumbersome and not precise.

Product is cost sensitive and needs to maintain a high sales margins so design and engineering details need to be thought out carefully High focus on ROI on this and all new Smart tool products for the upcoming 2018 quarters
Solution Objective

To design a well thought out user friendly ,wireless solution that can tie into the companies new app based CPS Link technology.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Design development began with mood board and design discovery reaserch
Product was to be integrated into CPS's wireless lineup of products. These products use CPS's unique app CPS LINK.
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
Extensive industrial design processes were unitized for design evolution development.
3D cad was derived directly from concepts.
Design development was refined after review with sales and marketing.
PHYSICAL UI DEVELOPMENT
Concept validation via prototyping

Physical design was further developed with
prototypes.
Prototypes were used for ETL and UL standards testing.

Testing Labs used these SLA prototypes to test PCB and Bluetooth transponder configurations.
